Bennett Recycled Robots
One man’s junk is another man’s … robot! Bennett Recycled Robots ($900-$6,000) are unique, one-of-a-kind robot sculptures made from a mix of found objects both old and new. The parts come from garbage dumps, basements, construction sites, even garage sales. Inspired by Norman Bel Geddes and Raymond Loewy, who helped shape the industrial design of the 40’s and 50’s, these robots are made from wood, metal, bakelite, glass, plastic, rubber and paint. Each sculpture has its own numbered metal tag as proof it’s an authentic Bennett Robot Works robot. [via Inhabitots]
