Langu ($5) for the iPhone offers a simple, yet effective interface for teaching foreign languages. Just choose a category, such as numbers, food, or colors to get started. Each word is accompanied by an image to reinforce meaning. Hear each word pronounced by a native speaker with a swipe of your finger. Once you’ve learned them all, you can quiz yourself!
